CLET ABRAHAM STICKERS MUSEUM

Clet Abraham is an Italian artist born in the 1960’s. He studied in France and lives and works in Florence where he currently has his own studio. He redirects traffic signs using vinyl stickers in order to create unique work and street art interventions with bright colors, marked with a hint of humor. His work is based on criticizing the strictness of signage, therefore he gives these signs a more humanistic dimension which symbolize rules and regulations. It is in Florence that he began this style of work for which he is now famous, where he creatively cuts stickers in advance and sticks them on active street signs on the streets of European capitals such as Paris, Rome, London, Turin, Milan or Barcelona. He has become so prolific that one cannot visit these major international destinations without coming across his work.
