Kook UWS is a New York based graffiti writer, street artist and avid sticker maker. He has been doing graffiti and making art since 1986. He first started writing band names and slogans, kicking around a few names before sticking with KOOK. He has a tagging style that is very unique and has become well known by many observant writers who pay attention to his many thousands of stickers and white out tags. Besides exhibiting his art in galleries across the country, he has also painted numerous murals, most recently painting the entire Providence Rhode Island cafe from top to bottom.
