MQ MQUE MKUE STICKERS MUSEUM

MQ “Most Qualified” aka MQUE/MKUE is a noted writer affiliated with the DMS crew, made up of members from the NYHC scene, and was instrumental in transitioning graffiti onto bridges, highways, and the streets, once the tagging of trains finished in 1989. By the 90’s he built up a reputation of being a fearless tagger, willing to religiously get up on any surface, whether it be tags, throwies, or stickers. MQ continues to take over the planet and paint the same always, making him one of the few remaining taggers from the 1980’s to remain active. Stickers have always been a heavy part of this writers arsenal and we come across them all the time when traveling, especially in New York City. In 2013, MQ had an exhibition featuring his work, aptly named “All Day I Dream About Stickers” a fun play on the ADIDAS slogan. He currently resides in the Bay Area where you will find he still gets up everywhere!
